We’re Just Getting Started…
My number one goal is keeping Gadsden on the path to prosperity for all our residents. I’m proud of the 10,000 jobs we have saved and created, the $500 million in new economic growth and industry development we have generated, the $30 million additional dollars we have invested in our schools, and the investments we have made to develop our infrastructure and workforce development. And we did it all by being good stewards of your tax dollars.
When I became mayor, our city was on the verge of bankruptcy. We worked hard to cut out the waste and balance the budget. That’s why today we have a surplus that has allowed us to invest in education, infrastructure, and both community and workforce development. We have created a solid foundation so that business and industry will continue to locate in Gadsden, bringing with them good, high-paying jobs.
As mayor, I will continue to focus on sound leadership and financial stability. I will support education and partner with the Gadsden City Schools to improve school safety. I’ll work to further develop the Coosa Riverfront, making it an economic engine for our city. And, I’ll make sure that infrastructure projects such as the completion of I-759 and neighborhood street paving remain a top priority in our city.
Let’s Keep Our Progress Going!
